School of Art Open House

Kent State University’s School of Art invites prospective students, transfer students, families and teachers to attend its School of Art Open House on Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2026.

Hosted in the Center for the Visual Arts, the open house offers visitors an opportunity to learn more about the School of Art’s academic programs, studio areas, faculty, facilities and student experience. Guests will be able to meet School of Art leadership, connect with faculty and current students, observe select classes and explore spaces where Kent State students develop their work across a range of artistic disciplines.

The day is designed to provide a closer look at the School of Art’s approach to art education through classroom experiences, studio visits, tours and informal conversations with members of the Kent State arts community.
