What to Expect

• When you first contact the center, a staff member will gather some general information from you and schedule you for an initial appointment. 
• During the first appointment, also known as an intake, a counselor will gather more detailed information from you regarding your reason(s) for seeking counseling. 
• You will then meet weekly with the same counselor at the same day and time of your first appointment.

Cost of Services

Counseling services are free-of-charge for all Kent State University students, employees and community members for an unlimited number of sessions.
