Throughout the week, Franklin Advertising students are promoting the advertising major, providing information about joining the student organization and live streaming some of the Ad Week sessions in the first-floor Franklin Hall lobby.

The sessions are being streamed by venue and can be watched online: http://www.advertisingweek.com/live/#bbkings.

Professor Wendy Wardell, JMC’s advertising sequence coordinator, said that Ad Week gives students the opportunity to learn about current advertising trends from industry thought leaders.

“Advertising is an ever-changing industry,” Wardell said. “Anyone who’s not staying on top of what’s current is open to the risk of irrelevance. Advertising Week gives our students the opportunity to hear the most current information from the people who are making part of advertising history.”

Keep up with Franklin Advertising on Twitter @FA_Kent and follow the Ad Week discussion by following the #AWXI hashtag.
