This weekend, the Akron Symphony Orchestra will present Opening Night: The Slavic Soul on Saturday, Sept. 23, at 8 p.m. at E.J. Thomas Performing Arts Hall. The evening will feature a trio of favorites from Tchaikovsky, Shostakovich and Dvořák.
