Speaker Events with invited speakers to highlight STEM careers. These events will take place three times per semester or six times per academic year (one hour each) and invited speakers will be recent alumni, industry speakers or faculty, with an emphasis on showing diversity in the STEM workplace. These events will take place using virtual platforms or in person and will all be recorded and made accessible to COF students who were unable to attend.

This program organizes a COF speaker series which plays a crucial role in connecting COF students with various internship experiences. Speakers are invited from Northeast Ohio industry, including COF alumni, who advertise internship positions at their companies as well as share their own experiences in finding such opportunities. Faculty speakers give presentations on their research and encourage COF students to participate in undergraduate research.

The program at Stark hosts speaker activities where STEM industrial partners come to campus to network with students, highlighting the opportunities for internships and future employment, including partners from Diebold-Nixdorf, J. M. Smucker Company, and Progressive Insurance.
