Actually, it was the 24th day of October, in 1973 that this photo appeared in The Daily Kent Stater four days advance of Earth, Wind and Fire's concert at the Kent Student Center on Sunday, October 28. The group had been booked to replace Billy Preston, who was originally scheduled to perform, but had to cancel when his European tour with The Rolling Stones was extended through November.
