Kent State University student-athletes with a GPA of 3.0 or higher were recognized as they assembled on the court during the Golden Flashes men's basketball game on Tuesday night. Kent State President Todd Diacon congratulated the student-athletes personally.
These student-athletes' stats in the classroom are impressive. The average team GPA is 3.395 and 73% of all student-athletes are at 3.0+, with 51% on the Dean's List (3.4+) and 12% on the President's List (4.0).
In a "battle of the birds," the Golden Flashes continued their streak of being undefeated at home by outscoring the Bowling Green Falcons 87-64.
