The 2023 Ohio Latino Affairs Summit, "¡Juntos! Latino Growth Is Ohio Growth," brought together about 500 participants in-person and virtually, on Kent State University’s Kent Campus on Friday, Sept. 15.
Attendees included educators, legislators, state and local communities and stakeholders. They came together to discuss issues affecting the Latino communities, including education, healthcare and workforce/business development and how best to improve them together.
The day’s agenda included a keynote speaker, campus tours and a resource fair, which featured university organizations and cultural displays.
