On Wednesday, Kent State played Bowling Green in Kent's annual Freeze Out Game at Dix Stadium. Kent State President Todd Diacon was there to cheer on the team, fire up the fans and hang out with the Kent State Marching Golden Flashes. He also demonstrated his technique for a forward pass - when sharing Kent State t-shirts with the fans.
Students attending the game received free refreshments and a free Kent State stadium blanket.
