Looking for some inspirational holiday shopping ideas, or a nostalgic buying experience?
Kent State University's Instructional Resource Center is hosting its 15th annual Scholastic Book Fair. Many in the Kent State community have fond memories of the book fairs. The profits from this fair go toward purchasing books for the Instructional Resource Center and donations go to Akron Children’s Hospital.
Every purchase of more than $10 earns a raffle ticket for one of the available themed gift baskets.
The shelves are filled with books, cookbooks, picture books and educational books for children and teens. Along with that, accessories like fun pens, posters, pointers, 3D bookmarks and activity kits for kids are also available.
The Instructional Resource Center provides and maintains resources, support and education for all College of Education, Health and Human Services faculty, staff and students.
The event ends Dec. 1. Hours are 8:30 a.m-4:30 p.m. The center is located in White Hall, Room 221.
