On Dec. 19, more than 1,500 young students from local elementary schools came to watch the Golden Flashes women's basketball team play the Lake Erie Storm at Kent State's Memorial Athletic and Convocation Center

The young Golden Flash fans were in attendance for School Field Trip Day presented by Ohio's 529 College Advantage.

Flash the Mascot was very popular with the grade schoolers, who also got to see the the Golden Flashes outscore the Lake Erie Storm 84-20. 

Kent State outscored Lake Erie by 84-20.
