Michael Schwartz, former president of Kent State University and Cleveland State University, was honored in a Celebration of Life event on Cleveland State's campus.
Representatives from both universities and Schwartz's family shared memories of his wit and passion for the transformative power of education. Speakers included Kent State President Todd Diacon, Ph.D., Cleveland State President Laura Bloomberg, Ph.D., and Ken Schwartz, son of Michael and Joanne Rand Schwartz.
