
Pamela Hutchins
Biography
After earning my Bachelor of Arts in Individual & Family Studies at Kent State University I returned to KSU to work towards my Master of Education degree in Early Childhood Education. Since graduating I have been a preschool teacher in community child care and parent cooperative programs in northeastern Ohio. I have also served as a mentor teacher and administrative assistant at the laboratory school prior to my current position of Coordinator of the Children’s Program – Admissions which I have held since 1995. I am also a lecturer in the School of Teaching, Learning, and Curriculum Studies teaching courses in child development and preschool education. My professional interests are in the area of quality early childhood programming and the role that university laboratory programs play in this.
