  • Relay for Life is approaching and we have created a team for our employees: KSU Employees United Against Cancer. Relay for Life is April 11-12 at the Kent State Field House. Registration is $25 (20% with code TUESDAY on Tuesdays) and this includes a t-shirt if you are registered by March 3. Participating in all 24 hours of the event is encouraged, but you do not have to be available for the entirety of the event to participate. If you are interested in participating or fundraising for the cause, join our team.

  • Faculty and staff are invited to join an exciting evening of friendly competition, community spirit and fun at the 2026 Annual Pickleball Classic on March 7— all in support of the Portage Foundation. Whether you’re a seasoned player or brand new to the sport, there’s something for everyone. Registration includes a delicious dinner, a complimentary raffle ticket for one of our fabulous gift baskets (with additional tickets available for purchase), and an evening of meaningful connection — all while making a strong impact right here in Portage County.

  • Food security plays a vital role in academic success, employee well-being and a thriving campus community. You're invited to attend Nourish to Flourish: Food Security on Campus on March 18 from 11-11:30 a.m. This 30-minute training will highlight the impact of food insecurity on students, faculty, and staff, introduce available campus food resources, and explore how individuals can help support food security efforts. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of why access to food matters—and how collective action can make a meaningful difference on our campus.

  • The School of Theatre and Dance Presents "Something Rotten" through March 1. Set in the 1590s, brothers Nick and Nigel Bottom are desperate to write a hit play but are stuck in the shadow of that Renaissance rock star known as "The Bard." When a local soothsayer foretells that the future of theatre involves singing, dancing and acting at the same time, Nick and Nigel set out to write the world’s very first musical. But amidst the scandalous excitement of opening night, the Bottom Brothers realize that reaching the top means being true to thine own self, and all that jazz.
