Dear Kent State University Faculty and Staff,
As we enter this annual time of gratitude, I take this moment to recognize the efforts of our hardworking and caring faculty and staff. Thank you for all you have done to make the transition back to in-person learning and working a success.
As a token of our appreciation for your role in the success of this great institution, each of you will receive a $20 gift certificate for a business or businesses near your campus community. We are grateful to all the communities where our campuses are located and are pleased to take this time to thank them and their businesses along with all of you.
It is your collective effort that makes Kent State a great place to work and learn. Recently, we honored faculty who earned the Outstanding Research and Scholarship Award, the Graduate and Undergraduate Excellence in Research Mentorship Award and the Excellence in Faculty Mentoring Award; received promotions and/or tenure; were named to be in the top 2% of scientists in their fields globally; and authored published books. Soon, we will announce staff members who have earned the President’s Award of Distinction and 20-Year Club inductees.
