What if I accidentally use my kent.edu email address for a personal purchase?

If you create an order using the University Amazon Business Account, your account information, including prior order history, addresses, payment methods, etc. can be accessed by Kent State administrators of your group, or department. This includes purchases made with personal funds. If a personal purchase is accidentally made on the account used for university purchases, the university must be reimbursed by a check, given to your department head, and Amazon must be contacted to add sales tax to the purchase. All personal purchases using the university account will be documented as a P-Card violation. If the cardholder/administrator has three offenses against the card, it will force the cancellation of the purchasing card per University policy 3342-7-02.16(E)(2)(a).
