Specialized/Programmatic Accreditation Meeting Request for Provost Office

 

Important notes:

  • Schedule these meetings as soon as possible once the site visit dates have been established.
  • The Department/Program/College is responsible for making sure that reviewers are transported/escorted to all meetings.
  • All materials are needed at least ONE WEEK prior to any meeting date.
Schedule a Meeting with the Provost

To schedule a meeting with
 Dr. Melody Tankersley
Interim Senior Vice President and Provost

 

Step 1: Contact Tracee Jackson (tayoung@kent.edu or 330-672-3949) and work with her to determine a day and time that will work for the site visit team and Dr. Tankersley.

Step 2: Once the day/time have been set, send an Outlook meeting invitation to Melody Tankersley (mtankers@kent.edu) with the following information included:

*In the body of the outlook meeting invitation, include or attach items 1 - 5 listed below. If you do not have a particular item or document at that time please do not wait to send the invitation but list the item as “Will update meeting information at a later date”. All items listed below need to be added to the meeting invitation at least one week prior to allow Dr. Tankersley time to prepare for the meeting.

  1. One or two sentences outlining the reason for the meeting.
  2. The accrediting body that is visiting.
  3. Names of reviewers and a bio or CV of each reviewer.
  4. Site visit itinerary.
  5. An executive summary (1-3 pages) of the self-study report. Include highlights of the program as well as some challenges that might be brought up by the reviewers. (This avoids surprises).

Step 3: As a separate email, (because it will be too large to include on the invitation) send the entire self-study report to Tracee Jackson (tayoung@kent.edu) and CC Accreditation@kent.edu.

Schedule a Meeting with the Senior Associate Provost

To schedule a meeting with
Dr. Mandy Munro-Stasiuk
Interim Senior Associate Provost

 

Step 1: Contact Michelle Finan (mfinan1@kent.edu or 330-672-2779) and work with her to determine a day and time that will work for the site visit team and Dr. Munro-Stasiuk.

Step 2: Once the day/time have been set, send an outlook meeting invitation to Mandy Munro-Stasiuk (mmunrost@kent.edu)  with the following information included:

*In the body of the meeting invitation, include or attach items 1 - 5 listed below. If you do not have a particular item or document at that time please do not wait to send the invitation but list the item as “Will update meeting information at a later date”. To schedule a meeting with
 Dr. Susan Perry
Assistant Provost of Accreditation, Assessment and Learning

 

Step 1: Contact Marcia Kibler (mkibler1@kent.edu or 330-672-7185) and work with her to determine a day and time that will work for the site visit team and Dr. Perry.

Step2: Once the day/time have been set, send an outlook meeting invitation to Susan Perry (sperry31@kent.edu ) with the following information included:

*In the body of the meeting invitation, include or attach items 1 - 5 listed below. If you do not have a particular item or document at that time please do not wait to send the invitation but list the item as “Will update meeting information at a later date”. All items listed below need to be added to the meeting invitation at least one week prior to allow Dr. Perry time to prepare for the meeting.
