Is a course withdrawal the right choice for me?

We strongly encourage you to keep up with your coursework so that you are making good progress toward graduation. However, if you find that you are struggling, then choosing to withdraw from a course may be an option for you. Before doing anything, please talk to your academic advisor about the consequences of withdrawing and other options you may have. You may find that keeping with the class, or pursuing the Pass/Fail option, is a better choice for a multitude of reasons, including issues with financial aid and scholarships, increasing your GPA to graduate, applying to graduate school or becoming eligible to sit for a certification or licensure exam.
