Message from the Dean
Dear Friends,
Since our last newsletter, the world has changed. Since March, I have seen our students, faculty and alumni mobilize to assist our communities in northeastern Ohio and around the world. I am proud to be part of such a strong and committed group of professionals. Thank you for all you have done and continue to do to make our communities safer.
This year is a milestone year for Kent State College of Public Health as it’s time for our Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH) re-accreditation site visit. I thank all those who have been part of the preparation of our reaccreditation process. Site visitors will be with us virtually December 2-4.
Speaking of milestones, our 10th anniversary celebration slated for this month is postponed until there is a safe time for us to gather to celebrate together. Stay tuned for updates.
On behalf of the students we serve, I thank you for your commitment to the College of Public Health. Your service and generosity make our mission possible.
I wish you and your loved ones a safe and healthy holiday season.
Yours in good health,
Sonia Alemagno,
Dean, College of Public Health
