Kent State University is about a community where everyone cares and comes together to make sure all are welcome and safe. April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) and this year’s theme “Engaging New Voices” the Office of Sexual & Relationship Violence Support Services (SRVSS) is looking to engage all members of our community in raising awareness and educating the community about what we can all do to prevent sexual assault.
As we plan for April, SRVSS is reaching out the community and collecting events from across the university to create a university wide SAAM prevention education and awareness event calendar!
If your department, division, college, or student organization is presenting or hosting an event in April related to sexual assault, go to the SRVSS website www.kent.edu/srvss to enter your event (click on link off homepage) Events must be submitted by March 17th to be included in any print materials. After that they will be included in electronic postings only.
