Arts and crafts, a photo booth, horse and carriage rides, hot chocolate, chances to win prizes and other classic WinterBlast activities will be part of this year's event but WinterBlast 2026 will also include athletic events in celebration of the Winter Olympic Games.
Presented by the Flashes Activities Board (FAB) WinterBlast 2026 will happen on Saturday, Jan. 17 at the Beverly J. Warren Student Recreation and Wellness Center. The schedule includes a dodgeball tournament with medals for the winners, basketball, rock climbing and more. Students can enjoy s'mores by the firepits and chances to win exclusive WinterBlast hockey jerseys and other prizes. The first 500 students to arrive can receive the new WinterBlast crewneck.
FAB calls WinterBlast the "ultimate welcome back celebration after winter break," and says"WinterBlast is all about having fun, reconnecting with friends, and starting the semester with a ton of energy. Come hang out, try new activities, and enjoy a night of winter vibes, friendly competition, and campus spirit!"
