Mobile Flashes are hitting the road to serve the community.

Kent State Mobile Flashes Program

The Kent State Mobile Flashes program is a collaboration between Kent State University's College of Public Health and partner organizations to provide community screening and wellness services. The Kent State Mobile Wellness Unit is part of this new initiative working to meet the needs and improve the health of communities through outreach, health education, health promotion, disease prevention, health assessments and screenings.

The first event for the Mobile Flashes student and staff team from the College of Public Health was the "Heart Health Screening and Education" at the UH Portage Medical Center.

The Kent State Mobile Flashes attend health fairs with partners at hospital systems, health departments, social services agencies, senior centers, schools and more, serving the isolated rural communities and urban underserved neighborhoods of Portage, Summit, Stark, Trumbull and Cuyahoga counties.
