IN A FLASH: The White Coats Have Arrived!
Last week, a new group of more than 30 students in Kent State University's College of Nursing donned their symbolic white coats in two ceremonies on the university's Kent Campus.
All photos by Kathleen Norman M.Ed., marketing communications and public relations director for the College of Nursing.
The White Coat Ceremony welcomes sophomore nursing students into the professional nursing sequence of their educational journey. This sequence is the next phase in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program in Kent State's College of Nursing.
The transitional ceremony includes recitation of an oath and a blessing of the hands.
