Nicole Carlone Losi - Director of Digital Content
Nicole joined Kent State in 2014 after working as the Digital Media & Communications Manager of Hospice of the Western Reserve, where she managed the agency's social media strategy, blog, website and email marketing efforts. She is a Baldwin Wallace University alumna with a degree in public relations and a double minor in marketing and management. She enjoys playing golf, all things Disney, and her golden pup, Mickey!
Deanna Stevens Ulrich - Social Media/Community Manager
Deanna joined Kent State in 2019 after working as a Digital Content Editor at the Akron Beacon Journal/Ohio.com, where she aided the development and implementation of digital strategy for the newspaper. A legacy and alumna of Kent State, she's been cheering on the Flashes for decades. When she's not online Deanna loves to spend time with her family and friends, read and bake.
Natalie Eusebio - Social Media Assistant
Natalie is a senior public relations major. Natalie has previously worked for Flash Communications, a student-operated PR firm within the University Communications and Marketing office. Last year she competed in the PRSA Bateman Case Study Competition, where her team received honorable mention for its work. When she’s not scrolling through Twitter you can find her grabbing coffee with her friends or online shopping.
Erica Fowler - Social Media Assistant
Erica is a senior public relations major with a marketing minor. She currently works as a freelance writer for Girl Scouts of North East Ohio. Upon graduation, Erica hopes to have a career at a nonprofit organization or a PR agency. In her free time, Erica enjoys running, watching documentaries and spending time with family and friends.
Rachel Kaveney - Social Media Assistant
Rachel is a junior marketing major with a minor in entrepreneurship. Prior to working at University Communications and Marketing, she was an Account Executive for Kent State Student Media. Rachel is a member of Delta Gamma and enjoys her community service at the Akron Blind Center. When Rachel is not working, she enjoys traveling, attending concerts, and hanging out with friends. After graduation, Rachel hopes to move to North Carolina and work for a marketing firm.
Hannah Kelley - Social Media Assistant
Hannah is a senior public relations major with a minor in fashion media. She is also a marketing intern for an environmental nonprofit, The Litterbugz. When she's not working, you can find her taking photographs, perfecting her Instagram or planning vacations. Hannah graduates in December and intends to get a job as a creative director for a magazine in New York City.
Jacob Majka - Social Media Assistant
Jacob is a senior public relations major with a marketing minor here at Kent State. He has worked at UCM for a year and has also been involved in Student Media organizations such as Black Squirrel Radio and the Kent Stater. Jake is a huge NBA fan and cheers on his hometown Buffalo Sabres and Buffalo Bills of the NHL and NFL respectively. Jake will graduate in May 2020 and is looking to pursue a career in public relations or marketing in sports or entertainment. Jake’s dream career is to work in the marketing department for the NBA.
Christine Padrid - Social Media Assistant
Christine is a sophomore Fashion Merchandising major with minors in Marketing and Design. She is an active member in her sorority, Phi Mu, and runs their social media pages. When Christine isn’t working, you’ll find her relaxing by the pool or spending time with her friends.
