    Biography

    With over thirty years of human services/counseling experience, Kimberly holds Ohio licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor Supervisor, Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor with Supervision Endorsement and Licensed Social Worker. She is passionate about her work in social justice.  She is deeply family oriented, loves to travel to the islands and spend time with family, especially her grandsons who light up her life.  

    Kimberly serves as the Director of Prison Education, overseeing the degree programs at Trumbull Correctional Institution in Leavittsburg Ohio and the Federal Correctional Institution-Elkton, in Lisbon, Ohio where she also serves as the onsite coordinator/community liaison. In addition, she is the Academic Program Director for Human Services at the Salem Campus of Kent State University. Kimberly serves on numerous campus and community boards, steering committees and training teams covering a variety of topics.   

    In addition to her work at Kent State University, Kimberly continues to provide clinical counseling in the community.  She previously worked as a clinical counselor for 17 for Mahoning County Juvenile Justice Center; Director of New Student Programs and Assistant to the Vice President for Student Development at Geneva College, as well as full-time clinical work in mental health and addictions counseling at Columbiana County Counseling Center.
