Lizzie Bihari
Biography
Lizzie Bihari is a native of Ohio and a proud graduate of Kent State University, where she earned her degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology. She is currently enrolled in Kent State’s Higher Education Administration and Student Affairs graduate program, where she enjoys learning about college student development, leadership theories, and the politics of higher education. In her free time, Lizzie loves reading, taking her cat on walks, and spending time with her friends.
In January 2024, Lizzie began her role as a Graduate Assistant in the Office of University Outreach and Engagement. In this role, she assists with advising College Credit Plus students, planning and implementing campus programs and visit experiences for students, and gathering data on satisfaction with these programs and visits. Lizzie is passionate about expanding access to higher education and helping students get excited about their futures.
Lizzie has worked in higher education since October 2023, where she served as the AmeriCorps VISTA Member in the Office of University Outreach and Engagement, helping plan programming and visit experiences for students. She also has experience as a graduate intern in the LGBTQ+ Center, where she hosted weekly social groups for students, developed the second edition of the center’s Policy and Procedure Manual, and assisted with the implementation of the 2025 Lavender Graduation Ceremony. Additionally, Lizzie works directly with students in the Vacca Office of Student Services at Kent State, serving as an academic coach to help students reach their full academic potential by offering study strategies and time management.
