Campuses

Welcome to Kent State's Eight-Campus System

Campuses Offer Degrees in Computer Technology, Education, Nursing, Humanities & Much More

Kent State University's eight-campus system, one of the largest regional systems in the country, serves both the development of a true living/learning approach at the Kent Campus and regional needs on seven other campuses throughout Northeast Ohio. The campuses offer a wide array of programs ranging from computer technology and nursing to arts and humanities. The Kent Campus provides the resources and facilities of a large, diverse university, while the Regional Campuses - Ashtabula, East Liverpool, Geauga, Salem, Stark, Trumbull and Tuscarawas - offer the friendly, casual atmosphere of small liberal arts colleges.

Regional Campuses Academic Affairs

The staff in Regional Campuses Academic Affairs act as liaisons with all Regional Campuses. They facilitate the smooth operation of the Regional Campuses by providing answers to questions, connections to university resources, and help with academic concerns for faculty, staff and students.

The Ashtabula Campus

Kent State's Ashtabula Campus occupies an 80-acre site on the shores of Lake Erie, and is comprised of three buildings: Main Hall, a large three-winged structure radiating from an open courtyard; a library; and a technology and art building.

Columbiana County Campuses

Kent State serves students in Columbiana County by offering classes at two convenient locations:

The East Liverpool Campus

Kent State's East Liverpool Campus occupies a downtown site overlooking the Ohio River and includes the Main Building, Memorial Auditorium, Mary Patterson Building and a Commons.

The Salem Campus

The Geauga Campus

Kent State's Geauga Campus lies at the heart of Ohio’s maple syrup country and provides easy access to urban, suburban and rural areas.

Twinsburg Center

The Twinsburg Center is an extension of the Kent State Geauga Campus.

The Kent Campus

Located in Kent, Ohio (population 30,000), the Kent Campus is ideally situated in northeastern Ohio, amid rolling terrain dotted by spring-fed lakes. Yet big city enthusiasts are only a short drive from four major urban centers, with airports offering access to the nation and the world. The beautifully landscaped Kent Campus is composed of 866 acres. There are 119 buildings on the Kent Campus with a 291-acre airport and an 18-hole golf course nearby. The university’s land holdings include thousands of acres of a nearby wildlife refuge, as well as marsh and bog areas preserved by the university as learning laboratories and resources for the future. The focal point of the campus is the University Center with its spacious Risman Plaza. On one side is the 12-story, open-stack library which houses more than 2.6 million volumes, a complete learning resource center and the university executive offices. On the other side is the sprawling Kent Student Center which houses dining facilities, meeting and conference rooms, recreation areas, a ballroom and bookstore.
