Academic Success Center The benefit of being a Kent State student is having academic assistance right at your fingertips! The Academic Success Center provides various free academic and personal enrichment services to students. Career Exploration and Development Career Exploration and Development supports students in achieving their academic and career goals by assisting them in developing self-awareness, making informed decisions, acquiring experience, and obtaining meaningful employment.  Please visit the Career Exploration and Development website for further information and to schedule an appointment.
Center for Adult and Veteran Services Our Center for Adult and Veteran Services works with students who are 21 years of age and older or students who have served in the military to assist with the admission process and transition to life as a college student. If you are eligible for military benefits, the advising staff in this office can assist you in understanding how your benefits apply to your college tuition. College Level Exam Program Kent State University awards academic credit for examinations offered by the College Level Examination Program (CLEP). Tests accepted at KSU can be found on the Career Exploration and Development website. This is an excellent way to earn college credit for what you already know!
Counseling and Human Development Center The KSU Counseling and Human Development Center provides personal counseling and human development services to Kent State students and family members. Services provided include individual, couple, family, child, and group counseling. Counseling sessions are FREE  to the KSU community.  Please call (330) 672-2208 to schedule an initial appointment in 325 White Hall on the main campus of KSU.
Counseling and Psychological Services Counseling and Psychological Services provides confidential mental health services to students which include: crisis intervention, individual, couples and group therapy, psychological testing, and substance abuse evaluation and treatment. The office staff consists of licensed psychologists and counselors as well as psychology fellows and graduate interns. Student Accessibility Services The Student Accessibility Services Office is committed to providing students who have special needs with the necessary accommodations for receiving a quality education. DeWeese Health Center The DeWeese Health Center provides non-emergency outpatient care to all eligible students. DHC accepts all KSU employee health plans and other major carriers. Writing Commons The Writing Commons offer tutors to work with you in accomplishing your writing goals. While their office does not serve as an editing service, they do teach you techniques such as brainstorming, editing, and revising.
