Writing Commons Mission Statement
- As the university writing center, the Writing Commons supports KSU students at all levels and in every academic discipline with any projects that include writing.
- We assist writers at every stage of the composing and revising process.
- We help writers at every level of proficiency to experience the satisfaction of developing effective written communication.

Monday: 11am - 9pm
Tuesday: 11am - 9pm
Wednesday: 11am - 9pm
Thursday: 11am - 9pm
Friday: 11am - 5pm
Saturday: 12pm - 4pm
Sunday: 3pm - 9pm
The Writing Commons will be closed all day on the following day(s):
Spring Recess (Saturday, March 21 - Sunday, Match 29, 2020)
Please note: When classes are not in session, the Writing Commons is closed. When weather or other emergencies cause the Kent campus to delay or cancel classes on the Kent campus, the Writing Commons closes.
The Writing Commons is located on the 4th floor of the University Library, Kent State University, Kent, Ohio campus. Simply take a left out of the stairwell or two lefts off the elevator to find us.
