The 2020 Safety Conference, will take place from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., April 2 at the Kent State University (KSU) Student Center. The KSU College of Aeronautics and Engineering (CAE) and Flight Team-hosted event, connects students and aeronautics industry experts in an all-day networking event field with lectures and Q & A sessions.
Students have an opportunity to interact with pilots, air traffic controllers, military professionals, aerospace engineers and other professionals affiliated with the CAE. Students from KSU and other aeronautics and engineering programs learn about job safety from industry professionals recanting their real-life experiences.
Kent State has a special interest in collaborating with national student chapter organizations including Women in Aviation and Ohio Black Aviation Professionals. This is a great opportunity for networking and is free to attend.
