College Visit information

In response to Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine’s proactive approach to keeping our state safe during the ongoing spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), Kent State University has suspended all in-person classes and cancelled all on-campus events through the end of the spring semester. This includes campus visits for prospective students.

The College of Aeronautics and Engineering is accepting appointments for phone and web-based meetings so that you can receive information on the majors and our academic programs. If interested, you can contact Liz Porter directly to schedule at eporte11@kent.edu. Additionally, we have updated our summer schedule if you would prefer an on-campus visit.

College Information Session

To speak with someone about our programs, and optionally tour the KSU Airport, follow the steps below. Family members/guardians welcome, with limited capacity. The College Information Session is a small, in-depth information and tour group with a few prospective students/families guided by a representative from CAE. An individual appointment with an advisor is not needed.

  • Schedule a College Information Session with the College of Aeronautics and Engineering (CAE). Choose a session that covers the program you are interested in.
  • Prospective students are strongly encouraged to choose a College Information Session and then schedule a Daily Campus Tour for the same day.

Transfer Students

  • Contact us directly at 330-672-2892 to speak with an advisor. Alert the secretary that you are a transfer student.
