Join Us for the World Premiere of "What We Learned While Alone: Global Voices Speak to the Pandemic"


The Kent State University College of Arts and Sciences invites you to join Provost Melody Tankersley and Dean Mandy Munro-Stasiuk for the premiere performance of "What We Learned While Alone: Global Voices Speak to the Pandemic" at the National Academy of Sciences in Washington, D.C. Monday, Oct. 24, at 7 p.m.
This unique theatrical event combines spoken word, music, movement and digital dialogue to create an innovative interactive experience that harnesses the healing power of poetry to transform our shared experience of the pandemic into collective meaning. It is free and open to the public.

This event is organized by Cultural Programs of the National Academy of Sciences in collaboration with Kent State's Wick Poetry Center and the University of Arizona Poetry Center, and with generous support from the Ohio Arts Council.
