Graduate students in the College of Arts and Sciences  must abide by the college deadlines in order to graduate.

Spring 2026 December Graduation

January 16  Deadline for Master's and Doctoral Degree and Graduate Certificate Candidates to Apply for May Graduation

March 2 Deadline to Request a Graduate Faculty Representative for Doctoral Students for May Graduation

April 10 Final Date for Oral Examination for Master's and Doctoral Degree Candidates for May Graduation

April 20 First Attempt Submission to OhioLink for May Graduation

April 24 Deadline for Master's Thesis and Doctoral Dissertation Submission and Forms to be Filed in the College for May Graduation this includes the upload to OhioLink

May 2026 Advance Degree Commencement -  Exact Time and Day to be Determined SEE https://www.kent.edu/commencement FOR TIMELINE
