Armonty is First generation, two time graduate of Kent State University.  As a high school student, Armonty participated in Kent’s Upward Bound program and began her academic career with the assistance of a transition coach.   As a single mother to a school-aged daughter Kash’Mier, Armonty was determined to persevere, and Upward Bound provided the assistance she needed to focus on her studies. 

In 2014, Armonty has obtained her Bachelors of Arts in Criminology and Justice Studies and she promptly returned to earn her Masters in 2017. She currently serves as a Probation Officer for the County Common Pleas Court in Cleveland Ohio.  Armonty gives thanks to the many resources and staff that helped her advanced her education.
