Seth Anderson, M.S., M.B.A.

Senior Asset Management and GIS Consultant
B.S., Anthropology '03 graduate

Seth Anderson is currently a Senior GIS and Asset Management Consultant at Arcadis, a global environmental engineering firm with a local office in downtown Akron. Like many students starting college, Seth started as an Exploratory student. At that time his plan was to take a diverse set of courses that would serve two purposes: fulfil general education requirements and find a major he was passionate about.

Mr. Anderson eventually took courses in Anthropology.  This subject combined four concepts of great interest to him: culture, material, time, and space. While pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology with a concentration in archaeology, he was encouraged by his faculty advisor to diversify his course load to include geospatial classes. Upon graduation in 2003 he pursued a Master of Science in Geographic Information Science/Geography and has been employed as a GIS Consultant ever since.
