LECOM Early Acceptance Program
The Early Acceptance program allows Kent State students to apply for provisional early acceptance at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine's (LECOM) College of Medicine or School of Dental Medicine. Students may apply directly to LECOM for Early Acceptance starting in their senior year of high school or within their first two years of study at Kent State.
LECOM agrees to accept up to five qualified applicants through the Early Acceptance Program (EAP) to both the College of Osteopathic Medicine and School of Dental Medicine each academic year. Students will apply to and interview directly with LECOM for program consideration. They must apply separately for undergraduate admission to Kent State if applying for Early Acceptance to LECOM as a high school student. Students should plan to pursue a bachelor of science degree at Kent State if they are interested in the LECOM Early Acceptance Program.
Students must complete their undergraduate degree at Kent State and meet LECOM admissions expectations before they are eligible to progress into the professional programs. The application requirements and additional program details are available on LECOM’s Early Acceptance Program site.
The College of Medicine has campuses in Erie, PA, Elmira, NY, Greensburg, PA, and Bradenton, FL. The School of Dental Medicine is located in Bradenton, FL.
