Online Learning Symposium

An annual event connecting faculty to new ideas and possibilities for online learning.

*Please Note: There is no Online Learning Symposium for 2018. Instead, Kent State Online is hosting the 2018 Ohio Quality Matters Annual Member Meeting (QM AMM). This event is free to all faculty and staff of Ohio QM Consortium member institutions. Learn more here

The Online Learning Symposium was founded by the Office of Continuing and Distance Education in 2014 to provide Kent State University faculty direct access to research-based best practices for online learning, opportunities to explore online teaching and pedagogy, and to foster colleague connections.

Featuring an array of breakout sessions, campus partner interactions, and an annual keynote address, the Online Learning Symposium provides multiple ways for faculty to interact and learn more about emerging trends in online teaching and learning.

The Online Learning Symposium is typically held in the Fall term of each academic year.
