Eligibility

Who is eligible to apply?

• Undergraduate Ohio residents or Ohio residents returning to Ohio for graduate school after completing undergraduate studies in other states or countries
• First year students, transfer students (first time degree-seeking at Kent State University), or students declaring an eligible major for the first time
• Students enrolled in full-time or part-time study
• Major in one of Kent State’s eligible STEM majors (see here for a complete list of majors)
• Former College Credit Plus students are welcome to apply

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• U.S. citizen or permanent resident and Ohio resident
• Scholarship applicants attending the Kent Campus must have a minimum 25 ACT or equivalent SAT score to be eligible (Regional Campus applicants do not need to meet the 25 ACT/SAT criteria, their applications will be reviewed by merit)
