During this meeting, we will discuss COF-CS expectations, eligibility and renewal criteria, schedule of events for the year, meeting attendance requirements, and faculty advisor assignments. Meet and greet all the program's freshmen, sophomores, and junior COF-CS Scholars, and get to know all our CS faculty and their research labs!

This is an opportunity for COF scholars to connect with upperclassmen and network with their peers.

Join us for Kent State University’s Annual Undergraduate Symposium on Research, Scholarship and Creative Endeavors on Wed. April 20th, 2022 in the Kent Student Center. This event will be hosted in-person during the National Undergraduate Student Research Week.

This is an annual event organized jointly by NE Ohio universities and colleges, including Kent State University, Cleveland State University, Case Western Reserve University, John Carroll University, Notre Dame College, Cuyahoga Community College, University of Akron, and Youngstown State University. Participating Choose Ohio First teams present posters based on their research projects. The presentations are judged by faculty and other experts. The abstract submission deadline is February 25th.

This event will be held both in-person and virtual (Micorsoft Teams). Attendance is mandatory for one of the sessions. This event is held exclusively for COF-CS Group members.
