2022 Undergraduate Research Symposium
Join us for Kent State University’s Annual Undergraduate Symposium on Research, Scholarship and Creative Endeavors on Wed. April 20th, 2022 in the Kent Student Center. This event will be hosted in-person during the National Undergraduate Student Research Week.
2022 NE Ohio COF Poster Conference

This is an annual event organized jointly by NE Ohio universities and colleges, including Kent State University, Cleveland State University, Case Western Reserve University, John Carroll University, Notre Dame College, Cuyahoga Community College, University of Akron, and Youngstown State University. Participating Choose Ohio First teams present posters based on their research projects. The presentations are judged by faculty and other experts. The abstract submission deadline is February 25th.

DNA Nanotechnology: How to Build Tiny LEGO Structures
Dr. Thorsten Schmidt (Assistant Professor, Dept of Physics) will be presenting about his research on building DNA to engineer nanoarchitectures and tools for applications in biophysics, structural biology, nanophotonics and nanomedicine.

Attend the COF-CS Group LinkedIn Review hosted by Dr. Gus Samba (Professor and Undergraduate Advising Coordinator, Dept of Computer Science) to receive tips on how to update your LinkedIn profile. This event will be held both in-person and virtual (Micorsoft Teams). Attendance is mandatory for one of the sessions. This event is held exclusively for COF-CS Group members.
