Dr. Carla Goar has been an avid supporter of TRIO programs on campus, most notably the McNair Scholars program. Dr. Goar has assisted the program with growing faculty connections, recruiting potential scholars, and mentoring scholars. She has worked as a faculty mentor for McNair and has offered her expertise and guidance to assist scholars in developing innovative research that can transform communities. Most recently, Dr. Goar is leading the newly formed Anti-Racism and Equity Institute.
