Nomination Process for the Outstanding Research and Scholarship Award
- Kent State University faculty, students, staff and alumni may nominate someone for an Outstanding Research and Scholarship Award.
- Individuals may nominate only one candidate.
- Faculty members may self-nominate.
- Nominations should be made using the Qualtrics form.
- All full-time tenure-track and non-tenure track faculty members are eligible for an Outstanding Research and Scholarship Award.
- Nominees have the option of accepting or rejecting their nomination.
- After the nomination is accepted, nominees are asked to provide a one-page research statement and their CVs.
Nomination Process for the Outstanding New Faculty Research and Scholarship Award
- Kent State University faculty, students, staff and alumni may nominate someone for an Outstanding New Faculty Research and Scholarship Award.
- Eligible nominees must be within 7 years of becoming an assistant professor (if a faculty member spent 5 years at another institution and are now in their 3rd year at Kent, they would not be eligible).
- A nominee cannot be recommended for both the Outstanding New Faculty Research and Scholarship Award and the Outstanding Research and Scholarship Award.
- Individuals may nominate only one candidate.
