Dix Media Ethics Lecture
To be announced (Spring Semester, 2020)
The Dix Media Ethics Lecture was established in 2018 through a generous gift by Janet and David Dix. The endowment gift of $100,000 to the School of Journalism and Mass Communication (JMC) launched an annual spring lecture on campus featuring nationally recognized figures discussing critical issues in media ethics, furthering enhancing the school’s national reputation as a leader in the field.
The inaugural lecture featured CNN’s chief media correspondent and anchor of the weekly program “Reliable Sources,” Brian Stelter. He discussed: “Telling the Truth in an Age of Alternative Facts.” [ livestream ]
