Job Description
Vice President Vargo is responsible for the overall leadership of the Division of Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement, including the areas of Advancement, Advancement Information Services, Advancement Operations, Alumni Relations, Gift and Estate Planning, Corporate Relations, Foundation Relations and the Kent State University Foundation. Interim Vice President Vargo oversees all philanthropic planning to include alumni events and engagement activities around the country. She is a member of the President’s Cabinet and directs the activities of the Kent State University Foundation Board as its chief executive officer. She provides support for the Board of Trustees External Relations and Development Committee.
