Internship: Digital Content Intern, Sherwin-Williams

“I attribute most of my success to my Digital Analytics in Advertising and PR, and Digital Public Relations courses. I use Google Analytics every week to verify data for the team"

Kent State classes in digital public relations and analytics prepared Brady Warmbein well for his internship with Sherwin-Williams.

Brady has been working with the company’s Do-It-Yourself digital content specialists, auditing websites; using the tools Google Analytics, Data Studio and Search Console to verify data; and managing submissions to the company’s Homeowners Association microsite.

“I attribute most of my success to my Digital Analytics in Advertising and PR, and Digital Public Relations courses. I use Google Analytics every week to verify data for the team. ... Data at Sherwin-Williams is highly regarded to feedback on the company’s performance, to address and fix issues and to create future goals and objectives.”

Brady says he’s enjoyed learning about the corporate side of public relations and that it’s a field he may consider post-graduation. He added: “I also enjoy learning from my coworkers and manager, as they are teaching me invaluable things about digital marketing and the tools they use in their field.”
