Florence Spring Break Trip Details

Students will have the opportunity to take a semester long course about Culture & Career Exploration with travel to Florence, Italy over spring break.

The trip takes place from March 12th, 2027 - March 20th, 2027

Trip Details & Logistics
  • The trip is part of the UC 20095 - Special Topics in University College, 2-credit class that meets for 50 minutes once a week.
  • The trip to Florence takes place during spring break of the 2027 spring semester (March 12, 2027 - March 20, 2027).
  • Students will need a valid passport in order to make the trip.
  • Students will meet on Kent's campus and flyout of Cleveland Hopkins International Airport.
Trip Application & Cost
  • Up to 20 students will be allowed to participate in the trip.
    • Complete an Office of Global Education application for travel ($60 fee collected by OGE).
    • Pay a $140 trip deposit.
  • The remaining cost of the trip ($3,300) will be charged to the Spring 2026 student bursar account.
  • The total cost of the trip is $3,500 *cost subject to some changes based on flight costs and exchange rates
