Aubreigh Kitzmiller is a freshman at Kent State University and a Choose Ohio First scholar. Aubreigh is studying to get her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Before enrolling at KSU, she interned in community outreach through University Hospitals & Geauga Growth Partnerships. Now at Kent State, Aubreigh has already joined multiple student organizations. She is part of Cru, as well as Nurses of Faith Fellowship (NOFF) as their secretary for the current school year, and the Student Nurses Association.
When asked about how the COF scholarship has helped her, Aubreigh said, "Financially with the scholarship and through the workshops (resume building). Also, knowing that they are always there to help point us to resources on & off campus is helpful."
Aubreigh plans to become an Obstetric nurse upon graduating her undergrad studies. She plans to return to Kent State to complete the Nurse Practioner Program.
