Silvia Gentili is a results-oriented professional with extensive experience in the fashion and design industry. With deep expertise in retail, wholesale (distribution and franchising), e-commerce, branding, merchandising and global licensing partnerships, she has built a distinguished career in business strategy and education.
Silvia has held leadership roles in major fashion and luxury brands, including Gucci, Calvin Klein and Borbonese, where she contributed to revenue generation, client development and strategic partnerships. Her knowledge of the evolving fashion business—particularly in the post-Covid era—has positioned her as an expert in merchandising strategy, retail development, and digital-green transformation.
An accomplished educator, Silvia is a faculty member at several prestigious international institutions, including Istituto Marangoni, Polimoda, University of International Studies of Rome (UNINT), University of new Haven (Florence) and others.
She specializes in courses related to merchandising and omnichannel retail, marketing strategy, brand management, mentoring students and fostering collaboration between academia and the industry.
