Twenty-one Fulbright TEA educators participated in a day-long series of live-streamed presentations to demonstrate how they will leverage technology to solve real-world problems and enhance learning within their school or community.

A group of 21 secondary school teachers from 20 different countries is spending six weeks at Kent State University as part of a Fulbright professional development program for foreign educators.  

For the past month, Kent State University has hosted 37 international graduate students as part of the Fulbright Pre-Academic Program, a monthlong immersion in American higher education and culture. The group, from 26 countries, arrived on the Kent Campus on July 21 and was scheduled to depart on Aug. 17 to begin their graduate programs at universities throughout the country.  

A professor from Chonnam National University in Gwangju, South Korea, said his recent visit to Kent State University enabled him to experience his research into the May 4, 1970, Kent State shootings in a whole new way.

The Read Center has been actively sharing its educational expertise in collaboration with former Fulbright alumni and their education communities in Ukraine and Nigeria, igniting a vibrant exchange of knowledge and learning opportunities.
