Gerontology Club
The Kent State Gerontology Club cultivates intergenerational relationships by connecting students with older adults throughout our community. We volunteer at local senior centers and retirement communities, plan meaningful and engaging activities, and explore topics in aging through guest speakers, hands-on experiences, and conferences. Each year, we participate in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s and partner with a senior living community to host a themed Senior Prom.
The purpose of the Kent State Gerontology Club shall be to promote stronger relations between students and older adults; to provide learning and networking opportunities, and to assist in community services that benefit older adults.President
